CP7 researchers Teun Baar and Melissa Olen presented their research papers at the AIC2015 conference recently held in Tokyo, Japan. In total 3 papers were presented from the project. For more details please click here.
CP7 researcher Radovan Slavuj presented his PhD research work at Forum Farge 2015 conference in Olso, Norway on April 17th, 2015. Radovan presented his research carried out till now on Spectral Modelling for multi-channel printers discussing about the work done till now and how it can be applied in everyday scenarios.
Forum Farge is a Norwegian association of people working with Colour. The main aim of this association is to stimulate Colour research on all aspects of colour, to disseminate research-based knowledge about colour, and to facilitate the application of this knowledge to solve colour-related issues in art, design, architecture, science and technology at national level.
CP7 researchers Ludovic Gustafsson Coppel and Paula Žitinski Elías have recently returned from the Advances in Printing and Media Technology conference (IARIGAI) in Swansea, Wales. Paula presented a paper about multilevel halftoning. The second paper deals with spectral colour prediction of halftone prints using probabilistic models. The third paper shows the feasibility of spectral proofing (i.e. reproducing the appearance of spot colours in multiple illuminants) with a multi-channel printer and is a collaboration with CP7 researcher Radovan Slavuj and Steven Le Moan.
- Dot gain analysis from probabilistic spectral modelling of colour halftone, by Coppel, L.G.
- Next generation printing – Towards spectral proofing, by Coppel, L.G.; Le Moan, S.; Slavuj, R.; Elías, P.Ž. and Hardeberg, J.Y.
- Multilevel halftoning applied to monochromatic inks in multi-channel printing, by Elías, P.Ž.; Gooran, S. and Nyström, D.
We are happy to inform that 3 papers submitted by the CP7 researchers are accepted at CIC 2014 for oral presentation. For more details please click here.
We are happy to inform that the abstract submitted by CP7 researcher Melissa Olen has been accepted for an oral presentation at the Image Conference 2014 in Berlin, Germany. This oral presentation will provide Melissa with an opportunity to submit a full paper to their journal “The International Journal of the Image” which is a peer reviewed journal.
We are happy to inform that 3 papers submitted by the CP7 researchers are accepted at the IARIGAI 2014 conference to be held in Swansea, UK, in September, 2014. For more details please click here.
At ST&T/SPIE EI2014 conference, the fellow researchers participated in setting up a CP7.0 project demonstration table during the demonstration session on tuesday evening, February 4, 2014. This session, during the conference provided a unique networking opportunity, a time when attendees could see the latest research in action, compare commercial products and ask questions to technically knowledgeable demonstrators. For more details please click here.
A special session was organised by the CP7.0 consortium in the MMRMA conference at Electronic Imaging 2014. Prof. Jon Yngve Hardeberg gave an invited talk on CP7.0 project goals, challenges and accomplishments. A total of 10 papers are published by the consortium (at the MMRMA conference) in EI2014. The details of the papers published and presented at EI2014 can be found here.
