CP7 researcher Paula Žitinski Elías from LiU, Sweden had a short secondment visit to Gjøvik University College in March 2015. During this visit Paula closely worked with Radovan Slavuj and Luddovic Coppel from CP7.0, and had meetings with several other members of the Norwegian Colour and Visual Computing Laboratory at GUC. Paula is currently working with colour models for multi-channel printing and image quality assessment.
We are happy to announce that CP7 researcher Paula Zitinski Elias at Linköpings Universitet, Campus Norrköping, Sweden successfully defended her licentiate thesis on December 16, 2014 at Linköpings Universitet, Department of Science and Technology. The third training event of the project was organised at the network partner Linköpings Universitet, Campus Norrköping, Sweden on May 27 – 31, 2013. The event was attended by all the ESRs as part of training program in the CP7.0 project.
This training event covered the fundamental knowledge about halftoning concepts and methodologies, as well as models predicting the spectral outcome of halftone prints. For more details click here.
Paula Žitinski Elías has accepted the position as a PhD student with Linköping University. She will work on the topic “Halftoning and tonal reproduction” under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Nyström. Paula holds a Bachelor in Graphic Technology and a Master in Graphic Technology from the University of Zagreb, and a Master in Investigation in Computer Science from Complutense University of Madrid .The CP7.0 consortium welcomes Paula Žitinski Elías.
