Presentation by Radovan Slavuj at Forum Farge 2015

CP7 researcher Radovan Slavuj presented his PhD research work at Forum Farge 2015 conference in Olso, Norway on April 17th, 2015. Radovan presented his research carried out till now on Spectral Modelling for multi-channel printers discussing about the work done till now and how it can be applied in everyday scenarios.Radovan Slavuj

Forum Farge is a Norwegian association of people working with Colour. The main aim of this association is to stimulate Colour research on all aspects of colour, to disseminate research-based knowledge about colour, and to facilitate the application of this knowledge to solve colour-related issues in art, design, architecture, science and technology at national level.

Paula Žitinski Elías’s visit to Gjøvik

Paula Žitinski ElíasCP7 researcher Paula Žitinski Elías from LiU, Sweden had a short secondment visit to Gjøvik University College in March 2015. During this visit Paula closely worked with Radovan Slavuj and Luddovic Coppel from CP7.0, and had meetings with several other members of the Norwegian Colour and Visual Computing Laboratory at GUC. Paula is currently working with colour models for multi-channel printing and image quality assessment.

A successful pre-defence for CP7 researcher Radovan Slavuj

Radovan SlavujCP7 researcher Radovan Slavuj had a successful pre-defence on September 18, 2014 at Gjøvik. There, all the work that has been done around printer modeling and halftoning was presented and future directions were suggested and discussed. The Pre-Defense had concept of a real defense with two opponents, supervisors and audience who were free to ask questions. Title “Spectral Colour Reproduction with Multichannel printers” represent work that has been done until now, but do not necessarily absorbs all material from final thesis. Overall, the timing to conduct Pre-Defence was right as there is one more year left for Radovan to make the thesis more unique and that significant contribution could be made in the field.
