2 new Early Stage Researchers join the CP7.0 Project

Two new Early Stage Researchers Jana Blahová and Irina Mihaela Ciortan are recruited at VoxVil AB, Sweden and Gjøvik University College, Norway for a 6 months period starting in March 2015. Jana will be working at VoxVil AB, Sweden mainly on the topic of  ‘Applying spectral colour transfer functions on a 12-channel printing system’ with a focus on improving the performance of existing methods. Irina will be working at Gjøvik University College, Norway on the topic of ‘Spectral reproduction of Paintings‘.

The CP7.0 Project consortium welcomes Jana and Irina.

Licentiate thesis successfully defended

A successful conference special session and presentations at EI2014

A special session was organised by the CP7.0 consortium in the MMRMA conference at Electronic Imaging 2014. Prof. Jon Yngve Hardeberg gave an invited talk on CP7.0 project goals, challenges and accomplishments. A total of 10 papers are published by the consortium (at the MMRMA conference) in EI2014. G M Atiqur Rahaman – new PhD student

G M Atiqur Rahaman has accepted the offer for a PhD position at Voxvil AB.  He will work on the topic “paper optical and surface properties” msp generator no survey under the supervision of Ole Norberg. G M Atiqur Rahaman holds a master degree in  Color in Informatics and Media Technology (CIMET) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University, Bangladesh. The CP7.0 consortium welcomes G M Atiqur Rahaman.
