CP7.0 Project team visit Technische Universität Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany

June 13, 2013, CP7.0 project members Aditya Sole, Radovan Slavuj and Ludovic Coppel visited the CP7.0 project partner Technische Universität Darmstadt (TUD), Darmstadt, Germany. The CP7.0 project team at Darmstadt (Dr. Steven Le Moan, MSc Sepideh Samadzadegan along with Dip-Ing Jana Blahova) did provide introduction to the laboratories at the Printing Science department at TUD. The Norway team also participated in psychophysical experiments currently being conducted as part of the CP7 research activities carried out by Dr. Le Moan.

CP7.0 Project participation at the Graphic Arts Color Experts’ Day at Frankfurt, Germany


CP7.0 project members Radovan Slavuj, Srikrishna Nudurumati, Ludovic Coppel and Aditya Sole participated in the work group meetings on June 10th and 11th, 2013 and in the Graphic Arts Color Experts’ Day organised by ICC on June 12, 2013 at Frankfurt, Germany. CP7.0 project and consortium was presented at the Experts’ Day by Radovan Slavuj and Aditya Sole giving information on the research being carried out in the project and the FP7 Marie Curie ITN funding received for the research from REA, Brussels. CP 7.0 Training Event 3, LiU Sweden

The third training event of the project was organised at the network partner Linköpings Universitet, Campus Norrköping, Sweden on May 27 – 31, 2013. The event was attended by all the ESRs as part of training program in the CP7.0 project.

This training event covered the fundamental knowledge about halftoning concepts and methodologies, as well as models predicting the spectral outcome of halftone prints. For more details click here.

Ludovic Gustafsson Coppel joins GUC as a Post doc

Ludovic Gustafsson Coppel has started at GUC as a post doctoral candidate. He will be responsible for devising implementation strategies for models developed in this programme, testing within colour reproduction workflows, advising on the selection of test images and on coding of implementations and prototype end-use applications. He has a background in Physics. He received his MSc. in Physics from the University of Provence, France, in 1997 and his PhD in Engineering Physics at the Örnsköldsvik Digital Printing Center, Mid Sweden University in 2013.
