Research work presented and published at Color Imaging conference in Albuquerque, NM, USA

CP7 researchers Steven Le Moan and Sepideh Samadzadegan presented their work at the twenty first Color Imaging Conference (CIC) held recently from 4 – 8 November 2013 in Albuquerque, NM, USA. CIC is one of the most coveted conferences in the area of colour imaging. Research work presented and published at IARIGAI conference 2013, at Chemnitz, Germany

Radovan SlavujCP7 researcher Radovan Slavuj presented his work at the IARIGAI 2013 conference recently held in Chemnitz, Germany. His publication at IARIGAI 2013 talks about spectral printing models that can be used in printing and two halftone models which can implemented during spectral printing. The title of his research paper published is ‘Review and analysis of spectral characterisation models and halftoning for multi-channel printing’.IARIGAI2013

CP7 project in the EU’s success stories booklet

We are happy to inform that CP7 project is one of the success stories (refer page 46) in the ‘EU FP7 People Specific Programme Success Stories Booklet’. This booklet talks about success stories from different countries and is formulated with the help of each country national contact point (NCP). In the booklet, the Individual Marie Curie Actions Stories are mentioned in the first part, while, the Host Driven Marie Curie Actions Stories are mentioned in the second part. CP7 researcher Sepideh Samadzadegan is now a member of CIE TC 8-13 technical committee

Sepideh SamadzadeganWe are happy to inform that CP7 researcher Sepideh Samadzadegan from Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany is now a member of the CIE TC 8-13 technical committee working on Colour Gamuts for Output Media. The aim of this committee is to study and recommend  methods for computing  and communicating colour gamuts for output reproduction media in which Sepideh will be contributing with her research carried out in this project.

CIE (The International Commission on Illumination or its French title, the Commission Internationale de l´Eclairage) aims for a worldwide cooperation and the exchange of information on matters relating to the science and art of light and lighting, colour and vision, photobiology and image technology. CIE is an independent, non-profit organisation that serves its member countries on a voluntary basis. CIE is a professional organisation and is accepted as a best authority on the subject and is recognised by ISO as an international standardisation body. For more details on CIE please click here.
